The information below will also be provided in a permission form sent home the week of August 23.

Dear Parent,

All of the Grade 7 students will travel to the Oriental Green Boat on Friday, September 10, for the purpose of team building and getting to know one another better. 

Students will leave school at 8.20am on a school bus and return to SAS in time to catch the normal 3:00pm buses or attend after school activities.  Throughout the day, students will participate in outdoor education activities including dragon boating, a confidence course, and bridge crossing. 

We encourage students to wear appropriate clothing, and footwear suitable for physical education (no flip flops please). Students should also bring sunscreen, a water bottle, small tissue pack and a sun hat/cap. A packed lunch prepared by Eurest will be provided, but students should bring healthy snacks to keep their energy up during the day. 

A nurse will accompany us on the trip but it is important to inform the school of any medical conditions your child has which may prevent him/her from participating in the activities. Normal school rules will apply on this excursion, including dress code.
